At just 15 years old the American is by far the youngest player in both the men's and women's draw.
She shares the same coach as 23-time Major winner Serena Williams, Patrick Mouratoglou, and he was present on Court 1 to watch the dismantling of Rybarikova.
The Slovakian reached the last four at the All England Club just two years ago but Gauff's dominance was so strong she cleanly broke in the sixth game of the opening set to take a 4-2 lead.
The teenager then held serve without affording her opponent any break points.
Gauff said after her opening round win that she thinks she can become the youngster ever Wimbledon title holder.
And she continued to prove that point by breaking early in the second set for a 2-1 lead.
Gauff continued to ask questions on Rybarikova's serve but a third break of the match did not arrive, meaning she had to serve it out for a place in the third round.
